Helicopter Terrain Awareness and Warning System Helps Prevent Ground

PHOENIX, Oct. 13, 2009 — Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced today that its
latest Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) for helicopters has
received technical design and production approval from the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA).
